What is this about?
EYHO (www.eatyourheartout.ae) is now including Food Manufacturers and Food Suppliers to join our online Portal by uploading their full Product Lists, electronically facilitating their Customers to secure their sequenced Food Orders on the site, which is directly routed to the Supplier upon confirmation.

Why is it beneficial for a Food Supplier or a Customer?
Food Suppliers can further expose their Products to Customers who are currently not ordering from them, hence increasing their revenue. For a Customer the benefit is ‘no more order faxing, ordering via telephone, getting a busy signal and having to wait to place their order’. Customers can now place their order by ‘a click of a few buttons’ and continue their daily tasks, in turn increasing their productivity/

What is the cost to a Food Supplier?
The cost is dependant on our sliding scale, which is determined by the no of Products a Food Supplier has. These Product lists must be uploaded onto our Portal for Customer Ordering. The cost may also include ongoing Service & Support to continually upload changes, special promotions, Ad Banners, etc.

What is the basic Road Map of such a System?
Food Manufacturer uploads their full Product List, Customer registers as a member (not chargeable) and enters all their requested details, browses the Product list of his Food Manufacturer and selects the no of items he wishes to order; he is able to review his final order in the shopping cart and confirm where he can print this order confirmation. The order is then automatically routed to the designated email ID at the Food Manufacturer Company, where stock shortages, discrepancies etc will be directly emailed to the Customer if deemed necessary. The Customer is able to follow up his Order trail directly with the Food Manufacturer electronically, hence eleviating the paper trail. Where a Customer does not have an email ID, we can provide the same so they can go to any PC and login via the web to access and monitor their Order/s. This may be a separate cost to the Customer.

How can both parties monitor the activity on the Portal?
Both parties are able to extract sequenced Reports (daily, weekly, monthly) to maintain records of their transactions. Obviously Invoices issued by the Supplier will serve the same purpose.

Can a Customer also secure Ad Banners on your Portal?
We welcome customers who wish to afford themselves of this opportunity. With the UAE’s estimated 4.9mil population and growing, the exposure for any business on our Portal is phenomenal where there are huge advantages to continue increasing your business revenue.

Is this Service only available to Food Suppliers or Customers in the UAE?
No the Portal encourages all Middle East Food Suppliers & Customers to take advantage of this initiative as a local point of presence is not required to place any order from your standard Food Supplier. In this way you are able to reduce your telephone, fax, typing and paper costs phenomenally. So if you are a Customer in the UAE and you are online daily, you simply have to login to the Portal and place your regular Food Supply from your Food Manufacturer in Saudi Arabia for example! There could be no simpler method, specifically because you not only have the ‘ease of use’ as a Customer or Food Supplier’, but you also have great global exposure to attract more Customers in both aspects.
When will this Service start?
As a Customer, we are currently finalising our negotiations with a few key large Food Suppliers and we envisage that this will be finalised within 2 weeks from now, so effectively from 1st February 2008, we are hoping to be live with this system. However we encourage memberships not only for this Service, but also for our online Restaurant Ordering Service
